Silvery Needles

Origin: QianDao Zhejiang

Character: a rarity of hand made tea, rolled into needle shape, soft sweet flavor, mellow taste with a hint of spring corn. When brew, the tea leaves float vertically in a cup, and slowly reveal the 1 bud and 2 leaves secret.

Character: compressed into miniature bird-nest shape, round and smooth taste, low in caffeine contents, a natural dietary drink.

Keemen Black Royal

Origin: Anhui Keemen

Character: tiny wiry black leaves with golden tips indicates the use of tender materials. special sweet and mellow Keemen flavor, full body with a sweet taste. One of the best black tea in the world.

Jasmine Pearl

Origin: Fujian

Character: scented with fresh jasmine blossom 6 times, intricately rolled into pearl shape, with slivery pekoe indicates the use of tender leaves. refreshing jasmine flavor, mild taste of prime green tea.

Long Jing - Gragon Well

Origin: Zhejiang West Lake

Character: well pressed flat leaf, lovely emerald green, aromatic flavor, sweet taste with a fruity hint. A well established tea known as the "Emperor of Green Tea".

Anecdote: first grown and made by monks living in "LongJing" area in more than a thousand year ago. Was tribute to the royal family in history.

Citrus Tea

150ml black tea (add sugar and ice)

30g lemon juice

1oz honey

1oz orange juice

1 scoop vanilla ice cream

mix together, well shake, serve in tall glass, sprinkle some diced lemon peel.

Pineapple Tea

250ml black tea (chilled)

150ml pineapple juice 

40gm honey

2 scoops of vanila ice cream

mix the above ingredients, well shake, pour into a tall glass, decorated with spearmint leaf

Tea's footsteps to the world

  • 805 AD, a Japanese Zen Buddhism monk brought the first tea seeds back to Japan, this marks the beginning of Japanese tea. 

 

  • 828 AD, a Korea Ambassador took back some tea plants after his trip to China; tea estates gradually starts in the Korea Peninsula.

 

  • Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD), Arab merchants exported tea from South China to Arabian and Middle Asia regions.  Tea also came to Southeast Asia Countries via sea.

 

  • 1517, Portugal sailors brought home China tea.

 

  • 1610, the Dutch sent the first commercial shipment of China tea to Europe, tea was ready to penetrate the continent and the British Isle.

 

  • 1626, the Dutch shipped China tea to America.

 

  • 1780, the East India Company started its tea growing project in India.

 

  • 19th Century, Countries like Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Brazil, and Morocco began to grow tea.

 

  • 1925, Kenya built up tea gardens and soon became the world's major supplier of black tea.
